For the first and only album from The Product, Houston legend Scarface recruited two promising young MCs—Mississippi’s Young Malice and the Bay Area’s Willie Hen—to create an album of intimate, hardcore street storytelling. Over a midtempo groove from The Alchemist, the trio kick knowledge about loyalty and perseverance on “G Type”, while “In the Hood” is a mournful, soul-filled showcase for Willie Hen set over strings and siren wails.
