About Beezewax

The Norwegian pop outfit of Beezewax has been under the influences of Sugar, Hüsker Dü, and Buffalo Tom since their 1995 beginnings. Consisting of Jan Erik Hoel (bass), Anders Isaksen (guitar/vocals/synth), Stian Olsen (drums/xylophone), and Kenneth Ishak (vocals/guitar), this Oslo-based four-piece released their first album, A Dozen Summers, through LaNuGo Records in 1997. Their second full-length, South of Boredom, followed through Pop Kid Records two years later. ~ Mike DaRonco
