About Duncan Honeybourne

Pianist Duncan Honeybourne has won acclaim for performances and recordings of English music from the early 20th century to the present. He is also noted as an educator and as a writer about music. Honeybourne's writings have been published by the likes of Classical Music magazine and The Times of London, and he has lectured widely about his experiences as a performer on the autism spectrum. Among the 70 works written especially for him are John Joubert's Piano Sonata No. 3 and Cecilia McDowall's Notes from Abroad. In 2021, he was heard on Dedication: The Clarinet Chamber Music of Ruth Gipps.
