Magadog was among the first bands to emerge from the Florida ska-revival community, a major ska hotbed throughout much of the 1990s. Comprised of keyboardist/vocalist Jim Pedigo, guitarist Jeff Kinsman, trombonist/vocalist Ed Trombakian, bassist Dave Akright, trumpeter Christian Woodall and drummer Ed Lowery, the group formed in 1992, issuing their self-titled debut LP three years later.
