Tim Fite

About Tim Fite

Singer-songwriter Tim Fite first attracted notice in the early 2000s as one-half of Little T and One-Track Mike, a jokey hip-hop duo signed to Atlantic Records who had one minor hit single, 2001’s “Shaniqua.” After the duo broke up, Fite (a New Jersey native born Timothy Sullivan) went in an entirely different direction as a solo artist, establishing a more politically-minded lyrical persona and fusing folk and country influences with sample-based hip-hop. Signing to the credible alt-folk indie Anti Records, Tim Fite debuted with 2004’s GONE AIN’T GONE.
