Margaret Ogilvy

Publisher Description

When Barrie was 14 his mother's favorite son died in an accident. Barrie tried to fill this place for his mother, Margaret. Margaret Ogilvy was written about this time in his life. Barrie's mother found comfort in knowing her dead son would remain in her mind a boy forever. It has been speculated that this trauma induced psychogenic dwarfism in Barrie. This could have been responsible for his short stature and apparent asexuality.
