CSS reined in the sloppy, shambolic spark of their 2005 debut for 2008's rock-heavy Donkey. Grungy guitar leads on tracks like "Rat Is Dead (Rage)" reveal some intense angst bubbling underneath the Brazilian party-starters' restless energy. But the dance floor is still very much their home: The band keep the hard, relentless beats pounding on post-punk ragers like "Jager Yoga" and "Let's Reggae All Night", while lead vocalist Lovefoxxx remains the saucy centre-piece on synth-pop shakers like "Move".
