Finally - a return to the pure old-school aggression that dragged me in and spat me out oh-so-many moons ago! I'll never forget the first time I heard the opening tracks on Master of Puppets... aged 13, sitting with my buddy in front of his stereo, buzzing from the sneaky sips we'd taken from his mother's brandy bottle, volume turned to full as we embraced the assault on our ears... This was the future of metal! This was our right of passage! The evolution of Metallica has come full circle, and here I sit again - a generation later - in front of my own stereo with my wife, buzzing from the sips I'm taking from my own bottle of liquor, volume turned to full, embracing the assault on my ears! The future has returned!

Back to the old days

This is the perfect album who was into Metallica before they bought out Load, Reload etc. It brings back the aggresion power and great lyrics that you heard in ...And Justice For All. Along with a greatly produced album, they bring back the very first Metallica sound; rough and thrashy. I HIGHLY recommend bying this for anyone who even liked the old Metallica or, even the new one.


This is the best music I have heard in years. Renews my faith in metal. Cheers Metallica.
