His compositions blend traditional orchestral arrangements with indigenous African elements, reflecting the film's true story of an Italian woman who moved to Kenya with her family and became an activist for protecting the region's elephants, rhinoceroses, and other wildlife. The soundtrack also pays respect to Africa's own vibrant music, including Ayub Ogada's "Ondiek" and "Obiero" and Geoffrey Oryema's "Kel Kweyo." A rich and compelling collection of film and world music.
