Love Your Ways..

Thumping. Melodic. Rock.
Take a great melodic riff and rythym to match, add an excellent guitar solo and a powerfully raw vocal wrapped around some simple but effective lyrics pounded out by a few kiwi musicians and voila!
Love Your Ways is the sound of a New Zealand summer on its way and the celebration that goes hand in hand with it.
The upbeat, urgency of this song grabs me every time I hear it. From the fun opening riffs through the first verse this song just draws you in - its mesmerising.
A strong argument for keeping it simple, this song sticks to what it knows and plays to its strengths.
Anyone can make this 'their' song and no doubt many will, the phrase 'love your ways' is hardly new but this track is a new take on it.
Without wanting to push anyone onto Junipah, theres shades of the Reid brothers, tastes of Kings of Leon and the downright understanding of a driving rythym that Shihad taught us all. Junipah are all of these things but none of them in that they can stand proudly beside these others.
I look forward to more great music from these guys and wish them joy in delivering it, bring on the summer!
