Originally released in Europe in 2005 but not available in the United States until 2009, Living a Dream finds light classical singer Katherine Jenkins in a somewhat pop-oriented mood. The album's signature song is a dramatic version of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You," reworked into a near-operatic Italian-language slice of glorious pop melodrama. The rest of the album blends arias and classical material with more familiar pop tunes like "Over the Rainbow" and the World War II anthem "We'll Meet Again."
