iTunes Review

Green Day get back to basics. After more than a decade of rock operas and stunt releases, the Bay Area trio sound liberated by their 12th LP’s lack of conceit. This is simple yet ferocious pop-punk, from a band that can deliver it—as they do with flame-throwing single “Bang Bang”, and the bouncy delirium of “Youngblood”, wherein frontman Billie Joe Armstrong rhymes “supernova” with “cherry cola.”

Strong Start

Bang Bang is amazing and hard hitting as I hoped it would be! Bille Joe really captured the intensity of shooter with his voice in this song. This song has a great message, great lyrics and amazing instrumentation. Tre Cool went all out with his playing on this one adding a whole new dynamic to this song. Mike Dirnt really started the song off strong with his funky rhythmic playing. This song is a great strong start to an album I can't wait for!

Perfect fusion of Dookie and 21st Century Breakdown.

It's got that raw feel with the political lyrics. Green Day is back!
