Game gives a personal tour of his hometown, revealing a city under siege as well as the residents’ perseverance and pride. Both can be felt in city anthems “Support Compton”, “Like Me” and “For the Homies”. The album booms with west coast funk and songs like “Hit the News” and “Roped Off” offer sights you won’t see on the Compton Chamber of Commerce website.
