Customer Reviews

Very Scream Aim Fire, yet refined.

This Album has multiple high and low points, with some songs seemingly missing something (such as some heavier rythym guitar needed on Breaking point and some screamed vocals on Livin' Life (On The Edge of The Knife). The three weakest songs on this album are probably Riot (dull chorus and overall lyrics), Temper Temper (Albeit the title track), and Saints and Sinners (due to the lack of variation in its lyrics). Whereas its two strongest are probably P.O.W (great lyrics, well made musically and generally has a great sound around it), and Tears Don't Fall Part 2, a song that does justice to the original content (See album 'The Poison'). The deluxe version features a very strong song in Not Invincible and two Live tracks (a very good cover of Whole Lotta Rosie and a decent rendition of Scream Aim Fire). The closest album I can compare this new material too is Scream Aim Fire, as it has a lot of songs that have the same kind of structure, while not completely copying the album, (although one or two songs have a very 'Fever' sounding vibe too them). Overall a better album than first expected due to the two singles Temper Temper and Riot, but not their best, that honor goes to either 'The Poison' or 'Scream Aim Fire'
