Rap-by-numbers. We've heard it before.

Lets face it. If you had to list the top 50 songs you had ever heard would this be in the list? - for me the answer is a resounding no. There is no doubt that Eminem is a talented rapper who has earned his stripes but for me he peaked somewhere around his 2nd and 3rd album release and has been heading slowly downhill ever since. I had hoped that with some time out (Encore released in 2004) that we would get to see a new, fresh, Eminem release something grand... But for me, this song does not herald the coming of a great album ready to stand the test of time; moreover it seems like the same rap-by-numbers formula used in previous tracks (ref: "Without Me" / "Just Lose It"). For me I think Eminem's first single from the upcoming album would have been better off being a song of substance rather than this 'designed for radio play' stocking stuffer.

Great but commercial

One of my fav artists. I love his humour and wit which does not disappoint in this track. Def like his first 3 albums best, with marshall mathers lp as my fav

To call Eminem hip-hop's Elvis is correct to a degree, but it's largely inaccurate. Certainly, Eminem was the first white rapper since the Beastie Boys to garner both sales and critical respect, but his impact exceeded this confining distinction. On sheer verbal skills, Eminem was one of the greatest MCs of his generation -- rapid, fluid, dexterous, and unpredictable, as capable of pulling off long-form narrative as he was delivering a withering aside -- and thanks to his mentor Dr. Dre, he had music...
