App and service need work.....

It is a lot of work, I have ordered twice and it would have been nice if there was an algorithm which either gave me the option of my previous buys or allowed me to enter in my list where those particular items would be searched for specifically. IOS app is a little slow on start up, takes 10secs to load.

Also the service of the driver and the fact that our shopping was not delivered on time, nor did I receive in that time a call that my delivery was going to be delivered after my initial selected time slot. After a complaint to your call centre I heard nothing back, although I was promised multiple calls, each time I had to ring. This customer service is very disappointing.

I have moved back to countdown delivery, I would rather support a NZ owned company, but not with that type of service.

Hi Tina, really sorry to hear the order was not delivered on time – please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
The app does store your previous orders (under My Orders) and you can reorder items from a past order. Also, you can create your own lists (using My Lists) to help you shop faster.

It was hard to get started but Debbie from Hillcrest new world was a big help. With practice I could do an order in 20 minutes. The staff at the store were helpful when I wanted anything unusual. Because of health issues this has been a life line. Practice is necessary to know the fastest way to order a product or to get quantities right. I have made an order about every five days since October. Some products are not available online but it is easier for me to pick up one or two things than do a whole shop. The grocery staff are wonderful.

I was reluctant to download an app rather than just using a website to shop as I’m used to.

But it’s less buggy and doesn’t time out like websites can. It remembers my previous orders and let’s me reorder the same thing (lets me know what’s not available this time) and then edit it which saves loads of time.

Have used about five times now and only one gripe about the packing once (which might be because I put the note about packing tightly into the courier instructions, not the packing ones).
Every other time it felt as though the person packing really cared about it: selecting just what I’d want (just the nicest produce, the greener bananas I prefer, nz grown as requested for subs etc) and paying attention to the notes - something I simply can’t count on with countdown. I feel like someone really cares when I place these orders so I’ve converted.

Only thing I’d like is more organic options in the store - but that’s not a personal shopper is job to fix.
