Series of unexpected crashes

OMG… keeps crashing one me and closes the application with no warning. I have lost all my work and it wont let you import images and music…the worst possible time for updating imovies….ahhhhhh

Its terrible the lag in my footage, exporting my HD recording makes it pixilated, it crashes. seriously guys this is terrible

Its okay but some features from the previous major version iMovie I want to know

When I had iMovie 9 (2011) about February 2012 on my old macbook and I reviewed "This app is awesome. I use it for news journalism.” But this review I am doing is about the titles. I can change the title background colour from black to any colour in iMovie 11 but not iMovie 13? Is it possible to do this same thing.
