I love this app!
I have this app and the 20 minute meals app. The best thing about the 20 minute meals app is that you don't have to buy any extra packs and when you buy the 20 minute meals app all the 20 minute packs appear as purchased in this app too. I think the voice control for going through the instructions when your phone is in landscape is fabulous, so often I have food on my hands and I don't want to touch my phone. It does take ages to download the content but the images are so crispy clear and the videos are in HD, it's such a beautiful app to look at and use so it's a small sacrifice. I recommend the videos, I've sharpened up my cooking and prep skills no end from watching them. Get both apps, they're both great. The only not so great thing is that each app downloads the content, so if you have the 20 minute meals app installed and downloaded, this app will download the recipes as well
No sound on iPad (initially) but otherwise excellent.
Have had this app for about a year - it's got a great look, a bright and breezy style, and works equally well on an iPhone/iPod Touch as it does on an iPad. Strange thing about this latest version though - initially there was no sound on any of the videos when viewing via an iPad. Via an iPod Touch, the sound was fine. After checking that the iPad was indeed playing sounds on other apps and videos that were on the device, I was at a bit of loss as to what to do next. So I had a look at a couple of recipes and tried out the new voice control Next page/Previous page feature (Nice!). Whilst doing that, Jamie's voice piped up with some advice, as he does from time to time on his recipes. So I went back to one of his videos, and lo and behold, the sound was now OK… Maybe he had a brief bout of laryngitis? :-)
