Helper with Health Struggles

I'm trying to deal with multiple health issues and the idea of having to painstakingly write down everything every day was not appealing. This app has been a godsend. Super easy to enter details, flexible and does the stats for me. I haven't quite got the hang of the analysis yet, but having all the information at hand is brilliant.

Frustrating

I purchased this app for my daughter as I was very excited about the reviews. As we live in New Zealand I did not expect all of our foods to be in the database but expected some. However none of our foods are in the database. Adding new foods into the database is not intuitive and an extremely frustrating process. If you have few foods on the database I suggest you at least make it easy for people to add new products.

Developer Response ,

We're sorry you didn't find the foods you were looking for in our New Zealand database - it has over 10,000 items in it, but doesn't include everything yet. Adding new foods can be done by tapping 'Add new item' in the search screen. Then add as much or as little detail as you require before tapping 'Done' to save it. We hope this helps. Kind regards, mySymptoms team.

Good features, dated UI, needs Apple Health

This app is the best available for tracking symptoms and food. The features are excellent

To be a 5 star app it needs 2 things:

1. An updated UI that at least comes close to to the human interface standards for iOS
2. Apple Health integration

Apple Health integration is especially important. There is a lot of double logging that negates the usefulness of this app.
