What's New in Version 1.0.3
This update includes:
- Design enhancements for warnings information, icons and colours
- Increased efficiencies with data calls
- Bug fixes and enhancements
What were they thinking
It's not even the advertising which is really annoying, whoever designed this did not think about usability on a small screen. The chart is pale blue with a very thin green line and tiny white numbers it's nearly impossible to see on a small screen. If that's not annoying enough the forecast defaults to Auckland if you don't use location services. On the old app you could select the default city. Strange but not everyone lives in Auckland! Oh and the ads, I paid for this app and now I get Adds. Thanks Met Service, given your predictions are bad anyway I'll be using another app from now on.
They will fix ptoblem
Emailed about app crashing and they said it is due to issues with OS upgrade and are working on fixing, hopefully back up in a few days. App is good when it works, so hopefully back up soon :)
I use this app daily and find it's accuracy pretty reliable, bearing in mind that because of the size of NZ, it must be difficult to predict. Living in Tauranga, almost always the weather is different in the lower Kaimai hills than it is in Papamoa.
