Very useful tool
This is an excellent app. Very useful for checking the amplitude of anything - e.g. The party music going next door at 4 am, traffic noise, the neighbour's barking dog. I use it for musical purposes to check dynamics of a piece.
It is also great for analysing pitch and in particular displaying the register of a note such as B4 as well as where the note appears on a stave and piano keyboard.
Only feature that would be nice to add would be option to weight the metering on the volume peaks so it is easier to identify the loudest sounds all it measures in real time.
Excellent tool. Very handy for musicians.
