Simple DoF Calculator allows photographers to calculate the depth of field and hyperfocal distance for any given settings. It calculates the near limit, far limit, total depth of field, hyperfocal distance, distance in front of the subject and distance behind the subject.
Just choose your camera, aperture, focal length and focus distance and it shows you the depth of field, calculations are all done in real time.
Aperture range: f/0.95 - f/64, focal length range: 3 mm - 1200 mm, focus distance range: 1 in. - 999 ft.

Ratings and Reviews
Very Good, easy to use
Having purchased both this app and the DOFMaster, I have to say that although both do the job well - albeit differently in how the information is displayed - I prefer this "Simple DOF Calculator" because all the information is entered in one thumbwheel screen and the graphical display of the results is easier to comprehend.
Interestingly, the two apps give slightly different results for the hyperfocal distance (HFD), the difference being greater at larger lens focal lengths. Does it matter? I doubt it.
I also liked, in Simple DOF Calculator", the ability to download new cameras that have have added to the database.
