Bug fixes
• Fixed: Did you notice that custom status suggestions for your org were showing up on desktop but not mobile? Turns out things were just a little dis-org-anized on our end. Ha ha. Ha. No, but we’re sorry.
• Fixed: In some messages sent by apps that incorporated block quotes, the message text was not indented and overlapped with the left-hand border. Many thanks for your understanding as we work to get all our ducks (and words) in a row.

Great
App is fine to use on the 7 Plus, though me trying to connect to my slack workspaces form New Zealand takes ages..
I beg you please add a dark theme or something that’s easy on the eyes, especially in low light situations / night time.
A disappointing UX
Slack is generally a good piece of software however the mobile UX leaves a lot to be desired. Every page has two different search bars with different functions, the search bar functions differently to the desktop app. 9/10 I just want to message a person, so I open the app I hit the nearest search bar and you guessed it. Nada. Or examples of other people saying their name. Jesus. So you fumble around scrolling oh yeah it’s in the random bottom tabs if you click DMs. You go to DMs and click the “Search” icon. Nope... oh of course! Jump to! Finally, except now I’m so mad at how simple this should be and how badly it’s been designed that instead I write this review.

The best collaboration tool ever
I have been using many applications for instant chat & other functions. However, nothing can compete Slack. Not sure where to start from about saying great things about it but overall, this is my favourite application in my organisation. It consumes very less memory on phone, yet the performance is absolutely amazing. No matter where I am, as long as there is internet connection - I am all set.
File/screen sharing, audio/video calls & the best part gifs! It’s extreme fun to use Slack due to gifs.
