What's New in Version 1.1.43
In this release we've fixed various annoying bugs and made a few minor enhancements too.
Also, if you happen to be experiencing an issue with disappearing listing descriptions, updating your device to the latest version of iOS should fix the problem.
Good app but annoying issues!
I always use the trade me app but lately have noticed some annoying issues!
First I noticed that no "purchase and billing information" option appears once you have won the auction, so then you have to switch devices to view the bank account details etc! Secondly I noticed that when you click on the sellers email and write and send an email (from the app) that this email does not get sent and disappears! Not found in sent emails or junk or drafts!
Final issue was that I couldn't use the app to update my address details and had to log in to Crome to do this!
Really annoying issues! Had emailed some sellers after winning a few auctions and when I never heard back in sheik my sent messages and realised that none of the emails have been sent - there is no record of the emails, and I'd copied in my husband who had never received them either!
I'm rating this three stars because it could be great if a few issues were dealt with!!
Every time I see issues like these I cannot help but wander: did developers even try using this app?
How can you overlook the sorting on Favourite searches?
If you have multiple city ares and you save the search, when opened it will show the featured ones.
Since I saved the search it is a very high chance that I'll open that search again, and when that happens I only want to check new items.
Well, the developers don't think that maters because if I try sorting it will reset the search basically.
Makes the app useless.
Also the app doesn't show all the info of the agent like I don't know... NAME?
It also doesn't give you the ability to put comments or send email to yourself as well..
Long time user, first time feedback placer.
I love the trademe apps. They're the new "Auto Trader" for those who remember that publication and spent hours pouring over it's pages as a young 'un.
I love browsing through all the cars & bikes - it's a never ending source of pleasure.
The iPad app does seem starkly out of date when compared to the iPhone app in terms of it's capability and UI - but it still gets the basics right.
I would bet the mobile team (hats off to 'em!) at trademe are working on an amazing Universal iOS app that will bring all the goodness of the iPhone one to the iPad as well. Perhaps 2016 will be the year that happens.
