Ratings and Reviews
Easier to use on smaller screens than desktop site
The app is constantly improving which has meant it has come along way from first revisions. Visuals are pretty good and intuitive so you can do most things on the app that you do on the website with a few annoying exceptions which takes a star off an otherwise 5 star review.
Pictures load quickly and you can zoom in on details. You can see description clearly. If you are a seller you can see the buyers details.
Biggest issue currently is you cant reorder or edit photos on a mobile phone etc the ‘drag’ process does not work as intended in the mobile sphere in fact if you accidentally tap edit on a photo it doesnt resize or let you move across to close it so you have to close the app to get out of it. But as I say constantly improving so sure its another planned improvement at some point.
A few quips
Can’t save searches and delete saved searches within app.
Can’t set app to show list of items by default. Always starts off showing grid view. Better for sellers, sure, who have paid to promote their items, but buyers just want the best deal—buyers want to list in order of cheapest first.
Many customers refrain from giving negative feedback because they’re afraid they’ll get negative feedback in return. One way to gauge how good somebody really is is by showing their total sales and purchases. An intelligent customer ratings algorithm would take the ratio of total purchases against positive feedback. The point here is lots of sales with no feedback implies many quietly unhappy customers.
Also, it’s a bit buggy: sometimes I get an alert only to open the app to find there isn’t one, and the general updating of bought, sold etc can take a while to refresh.
Also, when a sale isn’t completed (after having a Trademe rep intervene), the item comes up as sold, and you can still leave feedback.
Also, when you do an advanced search, the settings are lost when you go back to the search later, and you have to change the sort order, category etc again
I am not a fan of changes. I WANT RIGHT NOW to contact you as I do not believe the r
Total number of good feedbacks. They are not updated to what we have sold in last 2 months.!it also shows the bad review from a ‘trader’ who tried to sell us a rotten bookcase. He was told by my husband who is a builder that it was full of rot and we not taking it. He resold for more just after and gave us a totally unfair review. This was years ago. He was Howard’s N and is still trading. I hate it being there as we a kind and considerate traders. Recently a girl bought a heater and did not come to get it regardless of my prompts. I even said I would take it to her. In the end she said she did not want it and would not come for it. It took 2-3 weeks to get this message. It was her first purchase so I warned people to be careful but will remove it if she starts trading fairly.
PLEASE check and explain or update my feedback.
Please tell me why we get a ‘KEYWORD’ message. I could not open something I was interested in.
It is Sunday 29 July today so as soon as possible please
