Venerable North Carolina redneck punk icons ANTiSEEN have carved out a living since 1983 playing their brutally offensive “Destructo-Rock.” As obsessed with wrestling as Andy Kaufman, “singer” Jeff Clayton and guitarist Joe Young, the only permanent members, ape the sport’s bloodthirsty antics through razored foreheads and rant about immigrants and vegetarians to the horror of gentle souls everywhere. They’ve taken “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” to new heights with their trashy mix of Motorhead and Skynyrd, letting hints of their Southern origins bleed into the fury like grease on brown paper. They’re just plain ignorant, but always hilarious.
