Based out of the hill country in Northern Georgia, bluegrass gospel group Barry Scott & Second Wind was formed in the late 2000s by guitarist vocalist Scott, who had spent nine years with fellow spiritual pickers Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver. Rounded out by vocalist/dobro player Travis Houck, vocalist/banjo player Zane Petty, vocalist bass player Jason Leek, and vocalist/mandolin player Matt Munsey, Barry Scott & Second Wind released the Grammy-nominated In God’s Time in 2009. ~ James Christopher Monger
