About Delavega

Combining funk, nu-jazz, dub, rock, funk, and soul, guitarist Jean Paul De Brabander, bassist Ben Van de Velde, and drummer David Van Belleghem formed eclectic Belgian outfit Delavega in 2004. Named after the alter ego of masked outlaw Zorro, the band recorded one album, 2005's Falling Into Place, with Lize Accoe before recruiting Elke Bruyneel, a Flemish vocalist compared to the likes of Beth Gibbons and Ella Fitzgerald, for 2007's The Day After. ~ Jon O'Brien
