In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mother was a musician, and from my first memories as a child, she frequently played the piano. She played classical, country, rock, jazz, blues and western music. It gave me an appreciation for many kinds of music from an early age. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cody Johnson, Cody Johnson & The Rockin’ CJB Live Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin (Remastered) Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered I'm a huge fan of great production, great songs and great performances. These albums fit all three categories. I chose Cody Johnson for the great album, but also because he and his production team have remained true to country music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Way of the Cowboy” It's a cross genre song that fits both country and Western. I wrote it to describe the cowboy life using things that (with the exception of two) I have done. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Receiving three Wrangler awards from the National Cowboy Hall of Fame. Also, receiving gold and platinum albums for songs I had published. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To figure out how to become successful with my music on the streaming services.
