Formed in 2000, Randy Rogers Band is a country group from San Marcos, Texas, with a reputation for great live performances. ∙ In 2005, “Tonight’s Not the Night (for Goodbye)” and “Down and Out” became their first singles to reach Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. ∙ Kenny Chesney recorded Rogers’ song “Somebody Take Me Home” for his hugely popular 2005 album, The Road and the Radio. ∙ Beginning with 2006’s Just a Matter of Time, the band had five consecutive Top 10 Billboard Country albums. ∙ Their 2016 LP, Nothing Shines Like Neon, featured guest vocals by bluegrass artists Alison Krauss and Dan Tyminski, in addition to a duet with singer-songwriter Jerry Jeff Walker. ∙ The band won 2020 Texas Regional Radio Music Awards for both Entertainer and Band of Year, as well as the Best Music Video trophy for “I’ll Never Get Over You.”
