Born on January 31, 1933, in Saren, Obwalden, Switzerland, Ruedi Rymann is a volksmusik legend best known for his song "Dr Schacher Seppli." In 2008 a newly recorded version of the song by Il Senso featuring Rymann became a Top Ten hit in Switzerland, reviving interest in the legendary singer, whose greatest-hits collection 40 Ruedi Rymann Top Hits (2007) became a chart hit as well. ~ Jason Birchmeier
