In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest music memories all center on listening to 8-track tapes in our family's Ford Pinto station wagon. It was the 70's and I would sing to Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Janis Joplin, and the Eagles. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? James, Laid / Wah Wah (Super Deluxe Edition) Radiohead, OK Computer Travis, The Invisible Band These three bands have had an enormous impact on me as a singer and songwriter. OK Computer's wicked smart layering and unique sounds blew my mind. James and Travis have always been in my wheelhouse to sing to, I can feel both Fran and Tim's soul. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “One” One was the first song I wrote of all the new tracks on this album. It was born of frustration and came to be a bit of an anthem for the direction this new project would take. Its title has nothing to do with its placement. It simply had to be first. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It would have been my very first time up on stage performing with my band Tele...all the way back in the late 90's. We were performs at Rick's Place in Denton, TX. We were the opening band for Tripping Daisy. The place was packed for them. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes! We are actively searching for some placement of songs in TV or movies, that would be great! Also looking forward to performing live again after a very long 20 year break from that.
