From the producers of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and mind of author Katherine Paterson comes a rousing fantasy adventure about family, friendship, and the wondrous power of imagination. A perpetual outsider both at home and at school, Jess Aarons (Josh Hutcherson) just never seems to fit in no matter how hard he tries. When his goal to become the fastest runner in middle school is unexpectedly thwarted by newly arrived classmate Leslie Burke (AnnaSophia Robb), who enters in an "all boys" race and leaves her competitors in the dust, Jess soon strikes up a friendship with the imaginative outsider. Their bond is soon cemented thanks to Leslie's love for storytelling and Jess' skill as an artist, and the two lonely kids create a secret kingdom called Terabithia that is only accessible by swinging over a stream on a nearby rope. Though Jess and Leslie may be considered outcasts by their classmates, their adventures in Terabithia find the pair doing battle against the dreaded Dark Master and his malevolent creatures while plotting revenge against the schoolyard bullies. Now, thanks to his adventures in Terabithia and his friendship with Leslie, Jess finally finds the confidence needed to stand tall and be himself.
The Best Movie I've Ever Seen!!!
Bridge To Terabithia is the best movie I've ever seen!!! It made me laugh, it made me cry but most of all it made me remember a time not to long ago when I had a wild imagination with my friends. The first time I watched Bridge To Terabithia, I think I was 8 and now I'm 13 and when I watched it again it made me want to have wild imagintion back again and I kinda have. It also made me think about friendship and how special it is to have. I'm lucky that my best friend and I have the same sort of friendship as Jess and Leslie but through music. But anyway enough of me talking about myself, back to the movie. Its the best movie ever, I loved it and I'm sure you will to.
I love this movie, I'm not a kinda girl who cries in movies but because this one is so amazingly presented it was like real life ( kinda like I was jess in a way) I do recommend you watch this movie because it's changed my way of things especially friends and keeping my mind wide open so I hope you have the same experience if you watch this movie!
