About the Movie

Three years ago, Donna (Brittany Snow, John Tucker Must Die) watched in horror as an obsessed predator (Johnathon Schaech, That Thing You Do!) murdered her family. Tonight is her senior prom and although she's anxious about the past, she's excited to celebrate her future with her friends. What Donna doesn't know is that the deranged psychopath has escaped from the asylum. He's returned to hunt her down, intent on killing anyone who gets in his way. As the night races towards its heart-pounding conclusion, the question becomes not who will be prom queen, but who will survive the killer's rampage.

Beautifuly Predictable

This film is in my view one of the best of the teen horror thriller genre of 2008, if you enjoyed films like “when a stranger calls” then you will enjoy this film. Though it’s a teen thriller, this film takes a fresh new look at the genre and makes something quite unique and enjoyable. I watched this film late on a Tuesday night and I didn’t expect much but true to the other reviews it stood head and shoulders above other teen thrillers, the director of cinematography is also to be commended for some quite unique and outstanding shots that held my attention and were spectacular to boot. So if a light teen thriller is what you want I highly recommend this film. Five stars from me. *****

Could be better

It is indeed enjoyable for some, but judgingly, it's horrible.
Some of the acting lacked some emotion, the scares were too mild, and the theme doesn't convince that it'll frighten you...
It's only worth renting, pretty much to see how it's like. Just look at its vapidness.
