Reseña de álbum

Barricada singer Enrique "El Drogas" Villareal first released an album with his side project Txarrena in 1992, which he soon had to abandon due to the success of his main band. It was only 19 years later that Villareal could find the time for another go, with 2011's Azulejo Frío. Appearing alone on the cover and featuring a new lineup of Koma's Brigido Duque, and La Lengua de Trapo's Eugenio Aristu and Txus Maravi, this is quintessentially a Villareal solo album. As such, it is a sneering, hard-rocking affair as usual, albeit with more introspective lyrics that may not have fit as well in the Barricada canon.
