Reseña de álbum

A, well, bizarre concept music group of Sydney, Australian-based composer-performers. The tracks (26, A-Z) take the kind of (mostly vocal) inflections associated with "making sense" in all its forms, and explore these in a musical manner that is at turns humorous, mysterious, lyrical, rambunctious, the music of an unsuspected culture, the birth noises of a new species. Wonderfully, barely readable and appropriately dense notes accompany the disc. Performers are Jim Denley (flutes, sax, and voice), Chris Mann (voice and text), Rik Rue (digital and analogue samples and tape manipulation), Amanda Stewart (voice and text), Stevie Wishart (violin, live electronics, hurdy-gurdy, and voice). (See also their great short piece in the collection Aerial #5). ~ "Blue" Gene Tyranny, Rovi
