    Hands down, obesity and overweight are big problems in America. Over two-thirds of the population suffer from being overweight or obese, and they can lead to a plethora of different other diseases.

    So it's perhaps right that obesity itself is classified as a disease. Only thing is, disease classification means medication protocol, and medications won't deal with the root issues of obesity.

    Does the church devalue physical health?

    Does the church devalue physical health?

    Yes, we are no longer bound by laws regarding what we eat, but...

    ...why do we constantly overindulge and destroy the bodies that God gave us stewardship over?
    ...shouldn't we take care of the bodies that we do ministry in?
    ...why do we accept the substandard health offerings that the world presents to us, especially in a country that leads the world deaths from several preventable lifestyle diseases?
    ...both alcohol overindulgence and sugar overindulgence destroy the body over time. Is sugar overindulgence somehow the acceptable choice?

    There's a reason that Tom Brady and LeBron James are "great." They make a lot of sacrifice in regards to what they don't allow in their diets. There are certain things they simply will not eat. Why? Because they will cause their bodies to work ineffectively and improperly.

    Building muscle like a woman

    Strength training is definitely not just a man's thing.

    When you lift weights, do calisthenics, or engage in any other weight-bearing exercise as a woman, you sculpt your physique and enhance your health on a whole new level. What's especially important to note is that women who strength train significantly reduce their risk of osteoporosis, a bone loss disease which makes bones brittle and easily broken in older age.
