Instagram 12+

Ive been using instagram for so many years, since 2014 to be exact. Things have changed which is fine but whats tipping me off the most is that an account I made months ago, relatively newer than my one year old account, gets disabled instantly because I comment on PUBLIC posts. I never comment mean or say awful things on this app because of how ridiculous the restrictions are but I cannot type in a simple “huh?” or even a hey on a public post because apparently Instagram finds it offensive to do so. I dont understand. This is the second time i got my account disabled for posting comments on a public posts and both times werent even offensive as half of the things that other people say that you guys wont restrict because you have biases. Fix this and find a better way to detect offensive and rude comments, stop pushing away innocent users.

I hope ig can give us a way to let us view stories in public even if we have a private account. Also, not related but I hope we can have the For you and Following tab on the Threads homepage again. When I updated it, my feed is messed up again. I switched from Twitter to Threads since Twitter has so much ads. I can see more ads than tweets lol. Also, please add the Following in our profile and let us pin multiple threads. Overall, it’s amazing, aesthetic and I hope it stays that way, without ads.

I also hope that ig fixes their bug in cross sharing or cross posting. When I share a story that I was mentioned, it doesn’t share to Facebook. I checked the settings and everything is perfect. My accounts belong to the same account center, also checked stories settings to make sure all are turned on for sharing. I also checked my partner’s settings since he’s usually the one who mentions me in his story and everything is also correct and sharing is turned on for both of us. Since it started going wrong even if I had a public account, I just switched to private and I grew tired saving stories so I could share it to fb manually. Please fix it.

I made an effort to give you the survey and let you know what to fix. I hope my feedback is noted and I hope this would be fixed. I love your platform because it’s a good way to turn on my social battery and it has become a part of my life.

I have purchased the AirPods Pro and I noticed that when I am outside walking and want to send a voice message through Instagram or messenger the mic of the AirPods isn’t working. I think it switches back to the iPhone default microphone when you try to send a voice message through those apps, and I can tell that because my iPhone mic has an issue and doesn’t record any sound (so when I try to send a voice message it doesn’t catch any sound). Tested also this with my fathers AirPods and his iPad and when he also tries to send a voice message through those apps the mic switches to the device default mic, (had him leave the room and speak from the AirPods but the record didn’t catch any sound until I spoke which indicates that the iPads mic was on for the recording and not the AirPods one). Any idea how to fix that? Or why it is happening? Searched through all settings but it didn’t change anything. In calls, etc the AirPods mic works properly even in those apps, it just switches back to the default mic of the device when you try to send a voice message.
