You probably already know NimbleBit. They’re the team behind Tiny Tower, Pocket Frogs, Disco Zoo and loads more breakout hits. But Bit City is special. It takes the pixel-styled gameplay of Tiny Tower and fuses it with hectic city management. With a few (thousand) taps, you’ll construct a sprawling metropolis, populating your city with cars, planes and boats. We love how we can always find one more thing to tweak, improve and grow.
I like it!
The structures you get to build are really cute and you get to pick which one to lock as the building as it levels up but I hope the randomness of the design varies more. I mean as the level gets higher, the construction time gets slower but the buildings should really change every time instead of repeating the design. So that was a bit hard to explain lol.
Anyways, I also think that the city requirements gets a bit unreasonable. I mean 138k bitzens? The demand for residences gets really LOW you know. But despite everything, I still love it. Yay.
On the go
My benchmark would always be the old SimCity. This game is a simplified version. Suitable for people always on the go. It has a lot of room for improvement though, it’s a very promising game.
