Used to love this but now super disappointed 👎🏼
I’ve been using Spendee for years and even convinced my friends and sister to download and use it, but twice already (first time in late Nov 2020, and the second time this Feb 2021) my data has gotten messed up and my totals are missing in the thousands 😵 I’m assuming ever since Spendee updated to version 5 there have been a lot of bugs for a lot of users 😪
It’s been over a week since I emailed their Customer Support team and all I’ve received was the generic “we will get back to you”.
I’m extra disappointed cause I paid for Lifetime Premium and I don’t know how much longer I’m willing to track my expenses via Excel spreadsheet before I decide to invest in another finance tracking app entirely. 👎🏼
Scheduled recurring transactions no longer in view
I really enjoy Spendee and find it very useful. However, from the recent app update, the list of scheduled transactions cannot be viewed anymore on the current month’s dashboard. This is inconvenient because what if we want to edit any of the previously entered scheduled transactions. What was the rationale for taking this out of view, it does not improve anything. Every now and then users would like to check what other recurring bills are coming during the rest of the month. This change do not make sense! I hope something can be done. Thanks.
Lost a month’s worth of data
Unbelievable. The app updated and when I opened it I found that I lost an entire month’s worth of recorded transactions. I emailed support to ask them to restore it (since the data is synced online anyway) and I’m told that a technical issue in the update has caused the data to be permanently deleted and there’s no way to bring it back.
For an app whose purpose is to record important information and yet it so easily loses it without you even doing anything is downright embarrassing.
