Vocalist/actress Jasmine V makes R&B-influenced, dance-oriented pop music. Born Jasmine Marie Villegas in 1993 in San Jose, California, Villegas began acting as a child, appearing in various commercials and TV shows, including such Disney Channel productions as That's So Raven and The Suite Life of Zach and Cody. At age 11, she signed a development deal with producer Damon Dash and began working on material. In 2011, Villegas gained wide exposure opening for Justin Bieber on his My World Tour. Also that year, she released the mixtape S(he) Be(lie)ved, and in 2014, she released the single "That's Me Right There" featuring Kendrick Lamar. ~ Matt Collar
