Back to the Chalkboard, Agostino Zoida returns with a lesson for Standup Comedians and artists everywhere. After an 11 day run on tour, in Memphis, TN & Las Vegas, NV I am finaly back to share my performing experiences and what I learned which made me a better performer for it.

Talking about the vibe of a cool city like Memphis and how cool it was to perform there again and talking about performers that are in their head rather than in the moment and how that effects you as an artist. From recognizing when you're in your head, to what to do about it and how to over come it. Also some quick lessons for new comedians; should you watch the comedian before you? and how to open for other comics.

A continuation from a few episodes back (With guest Vinnie Falcone) on the discussion of "Should Comedians get Married?" and now we welcome back Jermey Scippio, another comedian friend of mine who is also about to tie the knot.

This episode talks about the darkside of Comedy and what it can do to our mental health, and is a spouce good or bad for that. We also talk a lot about the things that bring comedians down and breaking out as ourselfes and performing artists rather than the idolosied comedians that molded us.

Why have I been depressed about my comedy for the past 2 weeks? Not necessarily career but literally my comedy, where it's going, my writing and why have I been struggling with who I am as an artist?

HSP guest is Lee Syatt who has actively working his Standup Comedy Musscles and you can see him open for me in New York. In this episode, I catch up with my old friend and we chat about a few fun things including our love of movies. Lee and I were born days apart from each other and shar ethe same love for a certain era of films. Lee shares a storywhen he met Quenten Tarantino and and our recent movie going experiences as well as my online talk-show "The Movie Stash" a humorous movie review and trivia game show that I host with a filmmaker Kevin Lyons where we review and discuss movies and play a round of trivia to determin the who will chose the next movie to force the other to watch.
