A blessing for those who are life long students
This model of free online learning is beautiful. Pay if you want to get the certificate (or as I see it, pay if you want to support this initiative) or just learn for the sake of learning.
For someone like me, who has dropped out but still wants to learn about all sorts of things on my own, coursera gives me this freedom. I have to juggle between multiple pursuits in life and so I have to be flexible with my time. But since you have the option to study whenever you want during the day (or week), coursera gives me that extra bit of flexibility.
I would highly recommend that you take the course titled: Irony, Subjectivity, and the Crisis of Modernity by University of Copenhagen. At its core, the course is about what is the nature of knowledge and what role does it (or should it) play in the life of a human being and why this question becomes more and more significant for us to ask as the complexities of our time grows days by day.

After using Coursera for three years, I can say with confidence that it was crucial to my education. Indeed, I owe a great deal of my professional and academic success to its insights. Since we live in a world where everyone with an internet connection can learn anything, platforms like Coursera are a godsend. Coursera is a fantastic resource for anyone with an insatiable need for knowledge who is willing to put in the effort. Coursera has made education more accessible than ever before.

I have installed this app recently but in too much short time, it has totally fascinated me about how apps like coursera are changing the lives of people residing different corners of the world.
Its financial aid is best thing i have come across from our digital world. This is the true essence of modern technology. I wish them best of luck
