A good resource
I have been using Trip Advisor for a while now. I use it to write and get reviews. This is the way keep informed and inform others of places which are good and then those we need to avoid. It is also a good tool to find certain type places as you desire. I think it is a necessary app for frequent travelers. I only suggest they make a forum with it where people can interact and learn more about places they want to go or even discusses certain review.
Fawlty Towers vs the Shining
Hotel Oasis in Gilgit, Pakistan, is a weird combination between Fawlty Towers and the Shining. The hotel is STILL under construction. Despite a booking promising a deluxe room, as the only guests, Shabbir, the manager, who had been woken up from his siesta, showed us a dirty room with a view of somebody’s backyard. In the far distance we could indeed detect the river. Shabbir is unfriendly and unhelpful. I strongly advise not to visit this hotel. I do not understand where all the good reviews come from.
Staff standard is at its peak
Most of time of I use to stay at UAE for my business work and I recently stayed at Novotel Albustan. I found it so amazing specially the team I confronted on Front Desk, Mr. Javed and then young Lady Jessica, they made me so comfortable and the whole staff was so professional. However, I’d suggest that catering department can be far more better in future as it’s not according to the caliber of the hotel. I’m looking forward.
