At the time of this album's release, the MP label was becoming the musical machine of the moment, and this band was quietly pushing into commercially profitable ventures. Bandleader/trumpet player Luisito Ayala maintains a firm reign over his organization, as newcomer Osvaldo Román and vocalist Leonardo Figueroa do justice to mostly romantic material. "Buscando Amores," "Cuando Yo Amo," and "Eso Se Acabó" place the orchestra in strictly commercial terms.
