The game is highly p2w and the event instructions are a SCAM, e.g. you have to share 5 received heroes on fb to receive a new hero skin, however there is no fb share button despite the app being connected to fb. After contacting the support they informed that the share button appears only if you draw 10 heroes at once and it happen that there appears an elite which is nowhere mentioned in the event rules. Even in the response to this review they do not mention that it has to be 10 draws at once:

"Greetings Adventurer, if you successfully draw an elite hero, the share button will appear at the bottom right corner of the hero display page. If you encounter any problems during sharing heroes, please appeal to us via Facebook(@afkarena) with your id, server and the details related, we will help you. GM-Max"

This game is a huge buggy repetitive waste of money and time. Additionally as the rules don’t mention the 10 draws at once, it is a SCAM, since another event “challenge” is to buy something in game with real currency, however despite that as mentioned above you still won’t be able to finish the event!

Amazing!

Insanely addictive, but it’s not like the every game this type. You don’t need to spend any money to progress! There are events really often where you can get pretty big amount of diamonds (in-game premium currency). There are updates which ones upgrades game pretty well, like new champions, new varies of quests etc. Developer tries his best to show, that he cares about players. Game is pretty intuitive, it makes you to think sometimes, sometimes it’s just pure luck. Every player starts with different elite and all the champ progress is made only by fatum, so there is a big chance that you’ll become powerful pretty fast, or it can be painful way which will pay off if you will be patient. Also repetitive, but in kinda funny way, so it’s pretty nice timekiller. Also it brings you so much emotions when you see that your new champ set-up just killing it! Definitely must-play for everyone who likes grind/clicker/onedayvisit-type games, but also for rpg fans, even if there isn’t that much story in gameplay. Wish you luck!

Could be great but P2W reigns supreme

The game is good and well polished, the animations and art are one of the best I have seen in mobile games so far. The story, labirynth and peaks of time give a nice sense of offline progression in the few first months of game. The arena and guild are ok nothing too impressive there. It is essentially a game that tries to thrive (and even improves it on some aspects) on well established idle recipies such as the ones used on idle heroes and other famous idle games. After a few months of play though if you dont spend you will not get anywhere basically and it will become an everyday grind. There is not enough new content in the game in terms of events and things you can do to justify your time and quickly it will become boring, you will get lucky if you manage to get top 100 on arena. You will never be part of legends tournament, you will be weeks stuck on same level of tower and story, guild is just a joke after some time is just the same thing over and over. To sum it up the feeling is just grinding (most of the time not getting anywhere). The events (when they happen) are just terrible and at most will give you a chance of getting a good card of your choice. If you plan to spend cash give it a try otherwise just play some other game that gives you real feeling of progression.
