Navionics® Boating 4+

First of all not works properly on iPad Pro 2023 (sometimes show position, sometimes no). Another point is that stops working sometimes/ crashes. Better to use chart plotter built in a yacht.
After that experience, I deleted it from my iPad.

Regarding the GPS position, please check specifications of your device as iPad Wi-Fi Only models do not have internal GPS receiver and will not be able to determine your location when outside of Wi-Fi range, even using a mobile hotspot it may not display your correct position.

If instead your iPad Pro is a Wi-Fi + Cellular model, check that your Location Services are turned ON as explained here: https://tinyurl.com/4s92nd72

Concerning the app crashes, ensure your iPad is updated to the latest iOS version available for its model > https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204204
Then, force close all the apps running in the background: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201330 and reboot your device.

I've been buying Navionics maps (many various areas) for years. After some time they forced me to buy their new version they called Boating HD because the good old ones ceased to work after Apple switched do 64-bits. I didn't need their updates, I just wanted basic maps. But I had to buy the maps for the second time. What I did.

However, after the last update again I cannot download and access the maps I bought. Now to download my maps they are again forcing me to buy very expensive subscription to access what I already paid for twice.

Watch out if you choose Navionics. They have amazing ability to turn loyal long-term customers into enemies.

it is a pity that Navionics is not listening and not reacting to the Customer opinions that the new pricing policy for Boating mobile app is not acceptable.
I used navionics from the very beginning and was very satisfied. It was my first choice auxiliary mobile app., which I also recommended to all sailors.
But now because of your "new offer"and too high prices it is last choice or actually no choice app.
Please go back to the offer which you had a few years ago and I am sure you will have more satisfied Customers and as a result more income which I understand is also important for you.
