Ratings and Reviews
The best school helper.
Microsoft OneNote in my opinion is the best solution for students, that want to have their notes always near themselves. I can segregate my notes on subjects and lessons, it supports many ways of highlightning notes, as important, definitions, etc.
Every note which is saved online, is ususally stored in OneDrive cloud, where you can download or share this file with other people.
I don’t like one feature in OneNote. It’s text’s snippets. I don’t like it, because I prefer continuous text, it’s easier to write on computer/laptop/smartphone and it’s easier to read on smartphones. I don’t mind to delete it, but I suggest to add a button, which will set that your note will be continuous text or by snippet (second one is best option for big touch screens with pen support, but I don’t have it).
I have 30GB of OneDrive free (I don’t use this cloud), so I have many space for my notes and I don’t care about free space.
In short, OneNote is the best note app for the students independently for your age. If you have tablet or laptop with touch screen, it’s definitely the best note app on the market for you.
no title - common guys, I’m adding review for free, don’t require too much from me!!!
I was testing and using in parallel several different notes apps. Evernote and OneNote seem to be the best and I was using both of them intensively for 2-3 years. Although I’m missing Evernote’s tags in OneNote, I find the latter much better (the edition functions, a structure of documents/notes, etc.). However I don’t understand why such a big difference between standalone Windows version vs. Mac version. Number one thing to improve - tags/categories!
The best note taking tool!
I’ve been using OneNote since 2010. It’s come a long way. I’ve tried to replace it with dozens and dozens of other tools that have become popular since. OneNote is not perfect, but it is the best note taking app out there. Their latest redesign is a great improvement. Once you get their mobile app then you can pretty much forget about pen and paper for most of your note taking needs.
