Editors’ Choice

We couldn’t wait to go back to the land of twisty towers and uncanny beauty—and this sequel didn’t let us down. With its striking colours and level design, it’s even more stunning than the first game. New elements like light beams and controlling two characters make the puzzles even trickier. The bond between that mother and child is what we’ll remember most, though—their relationship moved us in a way few games do.

A puzzle game for 2 hours without a puzzles

After I started the game, a Chinese language was set by default. While my phone UI is in Polish which is not supported by the app, it should shown language selector at first use or, at least, set it to English. I changed it without problems but it left a bad first impression. When I started to play I was really charmed by the style and conception which was novel for me. But while both story and levels progressed, their difficulty wasn’t. After 30 minutes of playing, the game ran out of puzzle mechanics varieties and sparsely combined them until an end. Completing one segment utilizing the same schemes and usually consisting of 4 levels, takes 5 to 10 minutes. After barely 2 two hours of hardly perceptible gameplay you will be left unsatisfied, with product that don’t even come close to “Framed” series, which costs almost the same. So, as for final conclusion, if the product will be 3 times longer, used its mechanics more creatively and require some effort from a player to complete, it could have been a fine game.

Bought without hesitation, now a little disappointed

Have not played it yet. I had the previous one. A game one in million.

Having played some levels, I find it disappointingly easy. It is still beautiful and for sure it does have the same great storytelling, but it is not so puzzling. I can easily go through a lot of passages, once I see them I can already say that it is only a matter of some shifts and turns to go through it. Boring compared to the first one.
