About La Rêveuse
Performing the music of the 17th and 18th centuries, the chamber group La Rêveuse has teamed with theater artists in innovative presentations. La Rêveuse was formed in 2004 by lutenist and theorbist Benjamin Perrot and viola da gamba player Florence Bolton. As of the early 2020s, both retained leadership positions in the group, which has six core members but expands and contracts according to the requirements of the music being performed. La Rêveuse released its debut album, featuring violin sonatas by Élisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, in 2010. La Rêveuse made several more albums, including the album Louis de Caix d'Hervelois: Dans le Sillage de Marin Marais in 2021 and Le Concert des Oiseaux in 2023.
